A Bit About Born Wired
The Full Story
I am born story teller, from a long line of story tellers. In fact, my maternal grandmother is Elinore Pruitt Stewart, author of Letters of a Woman Homesteader. I've always told my stories through other mediums such as painting, drawing and poetry. I knew I had stories to tell but didn't think writing was my thing. On the advice of one of my daughters, I started expressing myself through writing. Imagine my surprise when I found that not only was prose my thing but my passion. Whether I'm sharing thinly veiled stories of my youth (Beatchik) or delving into the mysteries of the art world (Vincent's Wife), a reader will find they've accessed a piece of my mind and heart.

I look to the world around me for fresh inspiration, and each project I work on is a unique and fulfilling experience. I invite you to peruse a selection of my most recent work.

The bohemians, the flower children-- the revolutionaries of the 20th century, who started a paradigm shift that would change America forever. Â Beatchik illuminates the untold stories of bohemian women who meet in Boston. Â They are poets, writers, painters and world changers.

If you think you know how Vincent van Gogh died, or even  you might be wrong.  Follow art historian Lisa Holbein as she delves into the last ninety days of Vincent's life and discovers beauty, love, art, deception and murder.  What she finds, might just change your mind.
